to oversee the technical and commercial management of wind power projects in Finland and Sweden
Your job description
This role is new in Finland. You will be introduced to your position by a team of experts of various backgrounds with longstanding experience in the wind industry. Your job is to act as a liaison between wpd windmanager Suomi Oy, the wind farm operator handling day-to-day matters, the management of the wind farm project companies and its shareholder representatives within the wpd group. You will be the primary contact for the technical and commercial managers at wpd windmanager Suomi, review their reports, analyze the financial and technical situation of the project, maintain relationships with public and private project partners, optimize the operation of project, negotiate new major project agreements and support the potential repowering. You will coordinate internal and external stakeholders to safeguard the business case of the wind farm and report to the wind farm owner.
Profiles
You already have suitable experience in a similar position, preferably for several years. You are proficient in MS Office and communicate fluently in Finnish and English. Knowledge of Swedish would be an advantage. The job involves travelling, so you must also have at least a B-driver’s licence and be willing to travel. We also expect you to – an appropriate university degree, university background (e.g. production economics, mechanical/electrical/energy engineer BSc/MSc, etc.), – an electrical and/or mechanical understanding of functional systems, as well as financial acumen, – the ability and skills to interpret contracts and propose changes to them, – a proactive, proactive and thorough working style, – positive approach and problem-solving skills, and – the ability to get along and work with different people.
